The Women’s Information Network (WIN) is DC’s premier professional, political, and social network dedicated to empowering young, pro-choice, Democratic women.
Founded in 1989 on the principle of women helping women climb the ladder of success, WIN is now over 1,000 members strong. WIN provides women with opportunities to network with peers and leaders in the community, serve in leadership positions, gain valuable professional and political skills, and give back to our broader movement for pro-choice, political, and professional equality. WIN is a volunteer-run 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization.
We are committed to supporting other women as they climb the ladder of success, professionally and politically; supporting Democratic candidates, political leadership, and promoting Democratic values; defending our pro-choice values; and training young women to be prepared and empowered to become the next generation of leaders in DC and beyond.
In pursuit of WIN’s mission, vision and values, we embrace and celebrate diversity in our membership, leadership, and the communities with which we interact.
WIN believes that commitment to diversity alone is not sufficient. Inclusion is a necessary component to fully realizing our mission, vision, and values. WIN seeks to create an inclusive environment through education, training, recruitment, retention, and engagement.
