The Women’s Information Network (WIN) is DC’s premier professional, political, and social network dedicated to empowering young, pro-choice, Democratic women.
WIN informs, connects, and empowers women by providing opportunities to network with other women, serve in a leadership position, gain valuable professional and political skills, and give back to our broader movement for political and professional equality.
WIN members can take advantage of numerous career, political, and networking opportunities, including:
The WINlist: a daily listserv that announces job openings, upcoming events, and political action opportunities.
Network Events: monthly social, professional, and programmatic events, including panel discussions, workshops, receptions, resume swaps, happy hours, and more. WIN’s 19 networks provide a place for every WINner and reflect the diverse personal, professional, and political interests of our members.
Linking Leaders: intimate networking dinners where members receive valuable advice from WIN’s Advisory Council of established pro-choice, Democratic women.
The Professional Development Series: informative and interactive discussions among WINners, WIN’s Advisory Council, past organizational leaders, and other speakers.
WIN’s Congressional Council: an informal board of pro-choice, Democratic women members of the United States Congress. WIN members have exclusive access to this group including the annual Congressional Council Reception.
Skills Building: Serve in a leadership position within WIN. Hone your skills in your specialty or expand your skills by running for WIN’s Executive Council or serving as a Network Chair or a member of an event leadership team.
Membership Directory: Connect with other members and meet new friends with exclusive members-only access to our directory of pro-choice, Democratic women.
